Job Overview:
We’re seeking a Real Estate Investment & Operations Manager to be a right-hand partner to the founder, someone who thrives on owning the details, solving problems, and getting deals across the finish line.
Responsibilities
• Underwrite and model potential development or acquisition projects
• Prepare investment memos and support due diligence efforts
• Monitor project budgets, timelines, and financial performance
• Manage permitting, entitlement, and construction timelines
• Interface with architects, engineers, GCs, and municipalities
• Track punch lists, delivery dates, and cost change orders
• Own the leasing process and make sure we have the smallest number of vacancies in the portfolio.
• Coordinate with brokers, respond to tenant inquiries
• Track leasing pipelines and managing CRM updates
• Support lease negotiations and execution logistics
• Own task tracking, follow-ups, and reporting across projects
• Anticipate issues and proactively drive resolution
• Ensure smooth execution across all moving pieces of a deal
Requirements
• 7+ years of experience in real estate investment, development, or leasing (industrial preferred)
• Strong financial modeling and Excel proficiency
• Solid understanding of real estate deal lifecycle (from site selection to stabilization)
• Prior experience in small company, startup, or entrepreneurial setting preferred
• Bachelor's degree required (Finance, Real Estate, or related fields)
• Detail-obsessed with a strong sense of ownership
• Loyal, discreet, and aligned with a long-term growth mindset
• A strong communicator who can represent ownership with tenants, partners, and municipalities
• Equally comfortable in Excel and on a job site
• Hungry to learn, support, and grow with a tight-knit team
• Capable of meeting OSHA standards for manual lifting guidelines: < 50lbs
• While performing the duties of this job it is required to stand, walk, use hands, and reach with hands or arms when necessary for job activity.
