Job Title: Part-Time QA (Automation & Manual Testing) Location: Remote Job Type: Part-Time Experience: 2-3 years Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented QA Tester with experience in both automation and manual testing to join our team on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality assurance processes and methodologies, as well as hands-on experience with testing tools and techniques. Key Responsibilities: • Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using testing frameworks and tools. • Perform manual testing to identify, document, and track bugs and defects. • Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements and provide feedback. • Create and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts. • Conduct regression testing, performance testing, and functional testing. • Ensure the quality and functionality of software applications before release. • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testing strategies and best practices. • Identify areas for test automation and improve existing test automation scripts. • Report and communicate test results and progress to the team. Requirements: • 2-3 years of experience in both automation and manual testing. • Proficiency with testing tools such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar. • Experience with scripting languages like Java, Python, or JavaScript. • Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies. • Experience with bug tracking tools such as JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar. • Ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. • Strong communication and teamwork skills. • Attention to detail and a proactive attitude. Preferred Qualifications: • Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools such as Jenkins or Travis CI. • Familiarity with version control systems like Git. • Knowledge of performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner. • Experience testing web and mobile applications. Job Type: Part-time Expected hours: 20 – 24 per week Work Location: Remote
