Employer Industry: Health and Human Services Project Management Why consider this job opportunity: - Opportunity for career advancement and growth within the organization - Minimum experience managing a program budget of $100 million - Collaborative work environment with other project managers and stakeholders - Chance to lead complex projects with a significant impact on public assistance programs - Flexibility with a telecommute policy of 50% onsite and a minimum of 2 days per week in the office What to Expect (Job Responsibilities): - Provide leadership and oversight to project managers within the IES program - Define and manage project scope, schedule, and budget, while mitigating risks - Proactively identify, assess, and address project risks among stakeholders - Facilitate meetings to clarify business and technical requirements - Oversee Systems Integration vendor implementations and ensure adherence to project methodologies What is Required (Qualifications): - More than seven (7) years of experience working on complex projects, with at least 2 years in a leadership role as a Project Manager - Minimum of 12 years' experience as a PMO Project Manager in Health and Human Services, with expertise in Medicaid, Public Assistance, SNAP, HEAP, or ChildCare - Proven experience in data conversion and data modeling - Current PMP or project management certification through the Project Management Institute - A Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications): - Seven years of experience managing resource-loaded project schedules using Microsoft Project and VBA scripting - Understanding of data governance, privacy, and compliance standards - 1-7 years of experience working with technical teams and data analysts - Experience with Agile development and technical projects #HealthandHumanServices #ProjectManagement #Leadership #Telecommute #CareerGrowth
