The Meadows Endowed Chair for Excellence in Education is a tenured full professor position in the Department of Teacher Education and Administration within the College of Education. The successful candidate will be a nationally recognized scholar with a strong record of research, teaching, and service. They will be expected to maintain an active research agenda, secure external funding, teach and mentor students, and collaborate with others to achieve the academic goals of the university, college, and department.
The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders. They will be able to demonstrate a commitment to equity-centered education and a passion for improving people's lives through powerful learning, social-emotional wellness, physical health, and civic engagement.
