About the Role
The CS Innovation team is an integral part of the Customer Support organization, responsible for ensuring that our CS tools and technologies are equipped to support the growth, scalability, and adaptability of our Customer Care business. As a seasoned Product Manager, you'll lead the development and implementation of our contact center platform, collaborating with cross-functional teams, including design, engineering, operations, and data engineering, as well as third-party solution providers.
Key Responsibilities
- Product Management Leadership: Provide strategic direction for our contact center platform, including new feature adoption, feature enhancements, data pipelines, APIs, and integrations with internal tools, working closely with third-party solution providers.
- Strategic Planning: Help define strategy, capture requirements, clarify prioritization, identify dependencies, mitigate risks and obstacles, communicate, and create a roadmap for the contact center platform.
- Collaboration: Work closely with every CS functional team to understand their vision and challenges, delivering the best possible solutions together.
- Integration Management: Oversee the integration and adoption of product features through close collaboration with our engineering and data scientist teams, as well as third-party solution providers or consulting firms.
- Global Perspective: Understand differences in support expectations across various regions worldwide and tailor the experience accordingly.
- Expanding Product Management: Extend product management responsibilities to other tools as business needs arise.
- Embodying Netflix Culture: Represent the unique Netflix culture in your work, promoting a culture of excellence and innovation.
What We're Looking For
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- Proven Product Management Experience: 3+ years of experience in product management for consumer or internal-facing products, with a track record of delivering successful projects that improved customer and agent experiences.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: The ability to make tough decisions informed by both data and judgment, with a strong analytical mindset.
- Customer-Centric: A deep focus on delivering an exceptional customer and agent experience, with a passion for understanding their needs and pain points.
- Leadership and Influence: Organizational management and influence without authority, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and lead creators and engineers.
- Effective Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling updates and presentations, build trust, and create collaborative partnerships across functions.
- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with CCaaS, CPaaS, UCaaS, and CRM products, whether third-party or in-house built, is highly desirable.
- Customer Support Experience: Experience working in customer support or a related field is a significant plus.
- Global Product Experience: Experience working on global products is also beneficial.
