Overview:
Assists the Executive Director of Practicum Development in practicum placements for the Distance Education program.
Responsibilities:
- Develops new opportunities for Practicum placement assignments through professional networks, community partnerships, collaborations with non-profits and other schools in the Touro system
- Works collaboratively with online students to identify, vet, and facilitate practicum development placements
- Assists in reviewing and revising Practicum documents such as Practicum Registration Forms, Practicum Manual, Practicum FAQS, to reflect current procedures and protocols for online program.
- When requested, consults with educational coordinators and Practicum instructors to assess appropriate assignments, review responsibilities, support student learning needs, and provide conflict resolution and resources as needed
Qualifications:
Education/Experience
- Master of Social Work Degree required
- 3+ years of experience as both a Practicum Instructor and Practicum Liaison
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, & Outlook
Travel
- Limited to no travel
Working Conditions
- Position is fully remote
Maximum Salary:
USD $70,000.00/Yr.
Minimum Salary:
USD $56,000.00/Yr.
