CREATIVE BRIEF
Conference Presentation Design
Project Title
People Risk in Retail: What It’s Costing Your Business
Audience
Approximately 200 independent retail business owners attending a national conference. Many operate single-location or multi-location specialty retail stores.
The audience is highly experienced operationally. The presentation should feel like a **strategic business discussion**, not an HR training session.
Tone & Style
The presentation should feel:
• Modern
• Executive-level
• Clean and minimal
• Slightly provocative
• Confident and strategic
Think **consulting presentation style** rather than corporate HR slides.
Avoid:
• Overly corporate templates
• Clip art or stock HR graphics
• Busy slides with lots of text
• Excessive icons or graphics
Design Direction
Slides should emphasize:
• Strong headlines
• Minimal bullet points
• Clear visual hierarchy
• White space
• Clean typography
Many slides should function as **headline statements** rather than information-heavy slides.
Example structure:
Slide headline
Short supporting statement or 2–3 bullets
Interactive Slides (Slido)
The presentation includes several audience polls using Slido.
Please design slides that say:
SLIDO POLL
Examples:
SLIDO POLL
Where Are You Most Exposed?
SLIDO POLL
Compliance Confidence
SLIDO POLL
Manager Training
These slides should visually stand out but **do not require Slido integration**.
Content
I will provide the full slide content and outline.

Deliverables
• Final editable PowerPoint (.pptx)
• Clean and consistent slide design
• Conference-ready layout and typography
Timeline
Completed within 5–7 days.
Goal
Create a presentation that feels **professional, strategic, and impactful for a room of business owners**, not a traditional HR presentation.
