We're now seeking a compassionate and skilled Emergency Outbound Call Handler to join our team on a part-time basis, working remotely with flexible hours.
About the Role
As an Emergency Outbound Call Handler, you'll play a vital role in following up on emergency calls, checking in on our service users, and ensuring they receive the right support. Your work will be centered around providing reassurance, conducting welfare check-ins, and verifying that equipment is functioning correctly through test calls. This is a role that requires empathy, attention to detail, and a genuine desire to help others.
Key Responsibilities
- Follow up on emergency calls to check in on service users and ensure they're receiving the correct support.
- Conduct welfare check-ins to provide reassurance and support to service users.
- Perform test calls to verify that equipment is working correctly.
- Work closely with the Alarm Response Centre team to provide comprehensive care.
- Maintain accurate records and update systems as necessary.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance your skills and knowledge.
What We're Looking For
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- A genuine desire to help others and make a positive impact.
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a care or support environment.
- A good general standard of education and a can-do attitude.
- Experience working remotely and managing your own workload.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing situations.
Essential Qualifications
- A good general standard of education (GCSEs or equivalent).
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role.
- Ability to work remotely with a reliable internet connection (5Mbps upload and 15Mbps download).
- Availability to commit to up to 2 weeks of full-time training (Monday - Friday, 09:30 - 16:30).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a care or support environment.
- Previous experience working with alarm response systems or similar technology.
- Knowledge of care industry regulations and standards.
