1. Overview
Kinds Of is a next-generation educational publishing system.
(link removed)/
We transform the world’s structured knowledge into visual, navigable, high-quality media.
Your task is to create a 3-second video outro that will appear at the end of hundreds (eventually thousands) of Kinds Of videos across:
YouTube Shorts
TikTok
Instagram Reels
Web Embeds
This outro must immediately communicate trust, future-facing intelligence, and premium educational value.
The look must feel high-end, digital, smart, design-forward, and subtly authoritative.
Think:
modern Apple aesthetics
with the structure and intelligence of a scientific brand
targeted to a “suburban mom” general audience
2. Creative Direction (Critical)
Brand Personality (Ocean Model)
O1: High Openness → modern, forward, intellectual
C5: High Conscientiousness → clean, structured, ordered
E3: Low/no exuberance → calm, intentional, professional
A3: Cooperative → friendly, not arrogant
N1: Low volatility → stable, dependable, trustworthy
This outro should feel like the future of education, not entertainment.
3. Visual Identity Requirements
3.1 Style
2.5D parallax-based design
Subtle depth
Soft, intelligent motion
Clean geometry
No explosions, bounces, or playful cartoon-style motion
3.2 Motion Tone
Slow
Intentional
Eased transitions (SineInOut preferred)
No sharp cuts
No chaotic movement
3.3 Do Not Include
No logo pieces “building” into a word
No arbitrary shapes flying
No gimmicks
No iconography that suggests childish learning
No 3D logo extrusions
3.4 Focus on Typography
The wordmark “Kinds Of” is the logo.
Do not design extra marks or symbols.
Typography must be crisp, beautiful, and carry meaning.
4. What Must Appear in the Outro
(1) Primary Wordmark
“Kinds Of”
– In our brand serif font (Fraunces or close equivalent)
– Center-aligned
– High definition
– Crisp/clean rendering
(2) Tagline (optional placement)
“Beautiful knowledge.”
(3) Micro-tagline (one sentence)
Something like:
“A modern publishing system for the world’s structured knowledge.”
(Designer will place it; text provided by us.)
(4) QR Code
Small but scannable
Bottom-right or bottom-left
Linked to a sample taxonomy page we’ll provide
Subtle animation is optional (fade-in or parallax shift only)
(5) Final Hold Frame
Your animation should last ~3 seconds, but we need a static hold of the final design for 5–10 seconds so viewers can scan the QR code or read the text.
Designer will provide both:
animated 3s outro, and
a static still frame PNG/JPG identical to the last frame
5. Animation Concept (What We Want)
The Motion
Light parallax movement between background and text
A soft depth shift
Wordmark fades or eases in gently
Tagline appears with subtle upward easing
The entire composition feels “digital,” “intelligent,” “modern,” and “calm”
The Background
Options (designer may propose):
soft gradient with slight noise
subtle geometric lattice with extremely low contrast
slight glow or abstract light sweep
a background that feels “future-facing” but not sci-fi
The Goal
A viewer should feel:
“This is premium. This is smart. This is trustworthy.
I want to click and learn more.”
6. Sonic Identity
Audio Requirements
We need a 1–1.5 second sonic signature that feels:
harmonic or synthetic
clean
modern
slightly futuristic
subtle
not cartoonish
not cinematic booming
Think:
NPR × Apple × TED × future digital museum
The Sound Should:
play once during the 3-second intro
be clean, precise, and restrained
reinforce intelligence and reliability
We can provide example tones if needed.
7. Deliverables
Primary Deliverables
3-second outro animation
MP4 (H.264)
1080×1920 (portrait)
1920×1080 (landscape)
30fps
Static final frame
PNG, 1080×1920 and 1920×1080
Sonic signature
WAV + MP3
Separate file and integrated in MP4
Optional
Project source file (Blender, AE, or Motion)
Alpha-channel version (optional)
8. Reference Brands (Mood Only)
These are for tone, not for style copying:
Apple EDU or Apple TV intro tone
TED typography pacing
Calm app motion style
MasterClass restrained transitions
Google’s Material motion for depth
National Geographic modern identity
9. What to Avoid
high-saturation colors
playful bounces
childish animation
overshooting motion
gradients that look “Instagram-y”
montages of many images (save that for future)
any attempt to invent a logo mark
This outro must feel timeless.
10. The Final Test
The outro must look like:
“If Apple made a brand sting for the future of education.”
If it passes that test, the job is successful.
