Job Title: Manager, Social Performance

Reporting directly to the Senior VP Environment and Social Affairs or their designate, the Manager, Social Performance will support the continued advancement of Skeena’s social performance, including alignment with social values, regulatory standards, and community expectations, co-developed with Nation partners to ensure community priorities are reflected in project strategies.

The role will also collaborate closely with various members of the Sustainability team and the team responsible for fulfilling the Impact Benefit Agreement (IBA) requirements to support social performance and related activities. The Manager, Social Performance, will help foster reciprocal relationships and long-term partnerships rooted in mutual respect and shared stewardship. They will play a key role in engaging with local communities, governments, and First Nations, managing social risks, and implementing social responsibility initiatives that contribute to sustainable and inclusive development. These strategies will be designed and implemented to reflect long term community aspirations and support intergenerational sustainability.

Work Location & Conditions

This is a remote position and follows a Monday to Friday schedule. Travel to community, Eskay Creek Mine Site, Vancouver Office, conferences and work related events will be required. The role operates in a fast-paced and sometimes high-pressure environment, requiring the ability to manage multiple, competing priorities. Some flexibility in work location may be considered for the right candidate.
