2 Job Purpose
Perform and support the IBG management for the following functions for IBG FI business:
• Performance Measurement and analytical support
• Strategic / Business Planning and tracking of key strategic initiatives
• Development and enhancement of MIS requirements of IBG FI business as all FI business MIS of all FI countries is centralized in UAE

4 Key Result Areas
• Maintain an accurate and consistent management information reporting system at B/S and P&L level for different FI Countries, category of product, customer, risk rating, etc. including variance and trend analysis.
• Maintain the customer profitability reporting systems for FI and address the adhoc queries / clarifications from Country Heads/ RMs / Group Head.
• Analyze and provide timely and accurate standard and adhoc MIS to the IBG senior management and frontline for decision making.
• Provide support, where required, to Line Manager in the process of formulating Group’s strategic plan (Revenue) and performance management systems.
• Provide assistance in the process of periodic financial / MBO reviews for selected Country Head/ Business Head/ RM and ensure follow up on actionable items agreed to.
• Analyze business and generate forecasts for the Group in consultation with the Countries and RMs.
• Identify areas of financial inefficiencies and provide recommendations for corrective action.
• Assist in validation of numbers / assumptions provided by line management for business initiatives and portfolio strategies.
• Carry out regular forecast exercise to ensure risk and opportunities are properly identified and appropriate plans are in place to manage them.
• Work closely with Operations, MIT, Overseas Branches and other units
• Ensure compliance to management accounting and international accounting standards adopted by the bank.
• Provide back up to Finance Manager – Business Planning & Analysis (IBG) to ensure smooth support to business.
5 Operating Environment, Framework and Boundaries, Working Relationships
• Establish, implement, administer and monitor for accuracy and continuous improvement in efficiency through automation, the maintenance of accounting records for efficient production of MIS to facilitate sound decision and judgment,
• Interact effectively with IBG Head, FI Sales Head, Country Managers, Business Managers, Relationship Managers, PMAD Team, Central accounts, Operations, Technology and Credit.
6 Problem Solving
• The nature of the job is complex and varied, involving cross-functional disciplines.
• High level of analytical skills has to be employed to ensure that the assumptions, business logic, process and analysis are timely, accurate and scientific.
7 Decision Making Authority & Responsibility
• Formulating IT requirements for IBG Finance Function and ensure implementation through MIT and / or external resources wherever required.
• Providing timely and accurate standard and adhoc MIS to IBG senior management and frontline for decision making.
• Maintenance of the performance measurement and reporting systems..
• Responsible for completion of the special projects undertaken from time to time.
8 Knowledge, Skills and Experience
• Professional qualification in Business / Accounting / Commerce / Banking.
• Experience of 7-8 years in Banking MIS, Finance & Planning
• Established record of applying experience, knowledge and interpersonal skills in a changing business environment for the purpose of assessing information needs both at operational and management level.
• Ability to understand systems and procedures and implement and modify the existing practices, if need arises.
• Knowledge of banking products and services.
