Key Responsibilities
As a Lead Pharmacy Technician at blithequark, your key responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating with senior technicians to coordinate daily production of assigned areas, including data entry, customer service, and automation
- Troubleshooting and assisting with front-end processes and workflow issues to identify solutions
- Partnering with pharmacy leaders on team training plans and collaborating with field training teams as needed
- Assisting in orientation, training, and education programs for all controlled substances in accordance with policies, procedures, state, and federal laws
- Leading and supporting the front-end pharmacy technician team to ensure exceptional customer service and accurate order processing
- Assisting with data entry, customer service, and processing support tasks during busy periods
- Contributing to the development and implementation of process improvements to enhance customer service and operational efficiency
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A verifiable High School Diploma or GED
- Certification, licensure, or registration as a pharmacy technician, or as required by state law
- One (1) or more years of experience as a pharmacy technician
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and support team members
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently
- Proficiency in data entry and customer service software, with the ability to learn new systems and technologies quickly
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:
- Prior experience in the long-term care industry
- PTCB National Certification
- Experience with automation and data entry systems
