Requirements:
• Native-level proficiency in English and Chinese
• Proven experience in legal, business, or technical translation
• Strong understanding of terminology and industry standards
• Excellent writing and editing skills
• Ability to meet deadlines consistently
• Experience with CAT tools (e.g., Trados, MemoQ) preferred
• Prior translation experience for U.S. clients is a plus
Preferred Qualifications:
• Specialization in legal contracts or compliance documents
• Background in law, finance, manufacturing, or engineering
• ATA certification (optional but valued)
Responsibilities:
• Translate documents accurately and professionally
• Maintain confidentiality of all client materials
• Communicate clearly regarding project scope and deadlines
• Deliver work on time with consistent quality
