Role Description
We need trained and licensed counselors and therapists to help make a difference for our communities as we face mental health and substance abuse challenges in Ohio.
You will:
• Provide a range of assessment and mental health counseling and therapy to children, adolescents, adults, and families.
• Help clients in active change-oriented treatment by identifying and overcoming barriers to engagement.
• Provide crisis intervention and emergency services as needs arise.
• Develop treatment plans with clients and record their progress.
• Maintain necessary records and files.
• Maintain a strengths-based approach while working with clients.
• Establish a mutually respectful relationship and implement necessary interventions in a team-based environment.
• Complete referrals to other agency programs or external service providers as deemed clinically appropriate.
Qualifications
• A Master's degree in Social Work or Clinical Counseling with an LISW / LPCC or higher, valid in the state of Ohio.
• Five (5)+ years post-licensure counseling work experience with documented supervision.
• Previous work experience in community behavioral health and in a remote setting, preferred.
• Counseling license valid in the State of Ohio is required to be considered for the opportunity.
Requirements
• Regular use of various computer applications including Microsoft Office, HRIS, EHR, and other online systems with multiple logins often simultaneously.
• All necessary equipment will be supplied to ensure success.
