This is the second in a series of two finance support roles in a multi-site, multi-specialty academic medical center. Performs routine and ad-hoc tasks such as journal entries, reconciliations, data entry, standard report preparation, document and record management. Works in a team environment providing financial and accounting support to finance staff. Works under the general supervision of financial analysts. May assist Analysts in special projects. Uses reporting tools as necessary to assist in the development of management financial information.
*This position is a 100% remote work. Individual may live anywhere in the US.

Associate degree in business field and a minimum three (3) years applicable accounting or finance experience required. Bachelor's degree with an emphasis in Accounting or Finance preferred.
Has a working understanding of accounting and finance practices. Has working knowledge of Microsoft applications including Word, Excel and Outlook. Shows attention to detail, accuracy and ability to prioritize tasks. Customer-service oriented, timely in responses to requests for information, able to manage multiple tasks and priorities. Prefer knowledge of large accounting and/or grant management systems.
