About the position
The Field Sales Merchandiser at Hyer Boots is a vital ambassador role responsible for elevating in-store product presentation, supporting retail partners, and reinforcing our premium brand presence across the Southeastern Region. As a key representative of Hyer Boots, the Merchandiser will cultivate strong retail relationships, ensure visual merchandising excellence, and help drive sell-through at partner locations. This individual will collaborate closely with the sales team, support overall territory efforts, and embody the Western way of life while delivering a best-in-class retail experience across assigned states including Fl, GA, SC and NC. (subject to change based on company needs).
Responsibilities
• Travel regularly to retail partner locations throughout the assigned region to merchandise Hyer Boots products.
• Train in-store retail employees on Hyer Boots products
• Ensure all in-store displays are visually appealing, organized, and meet brand standards.
• Set up and maintain marketing and point-of-sale (POS) materials to support effective brand messaging.
• Take and manage inventory to ensure optimal stock levels and product availability.
• Identify and act on opportunities to improve shelf placement, product visibility, and sales.
• Attend events and Hyer Days events throughout the country and throughout the year as requested
• Attend tradeshows as assigned by leadership
• Represent the Hyer brand with professionalism, energy, and enthusiasm
• Coordinate and help develop the pipeline of Hyer’s Champions Program within the region in collaboration with the Field Merchandising Manager
• Collaborate with sales reps to assign Champions where needed.
• Follow up with Champions for feedback on their product experience and in-store support.
Requirements
• Deep passion for and understanding of the Western lifestyle and culture.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience in merchandising, retail, or sales is preferred.
• Ability to travel extensively across the assigned region and work independently.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple locations and responsibilities.
• Comfortable using digital tools such as spreadsheets, email, and internal platforms like Notion.
• Physical ability to lift, move, and merchandise products in-store as required.
