Field Project Manager (Crane Service)

Description We’re seeking a driven and organized Field Project Manager to lead and coordinate process crane and modernization projects from start to finish. In this role, you’ll work closely with internal teams, contractors, and clients to ensure successful project execution. You’ll oversee operations, manage timelines and budgets, and support sales efforts related to each project. If you thrive in a dynamic environment and enjoy bringing complex projects to life, we’d love to hear from you.   Please note this position is a field-based position and requires applicants to be located within the Central Florida region for optimized performance.  Requirements - Lead and manage field activities for process crane and modernization projects. - Plan all aspects of a project before execution, including scope, timelines, and deliverables. - Collaborate with customers and leadership during the quoting process to clarify goals and expectations. - Identify necessary resources and develop detailed execution schedules for each project phase. - Ensure project quality, on-time delivery, and customer satisfaction. - Travel to job sites for sales, operations, estimating, and customer relationship management as needed. - Perform complex calculations for risk assessment, budgeting, and resource allocation. - Direct and oversee on-site field crews and subcontractors to ensure job completion. - Maintain oversight of all concurrent project components and conduct stage-by-stage reviews. - Manage and oversee scheduling of projects, ensuring all jobs are reflected accurately in the scheduling system. - Ensure timely and accurate completion of all project-related paperwork. - Address and resolve customer concerns, reporting potential warranty claims when necessary. - Maintain communication with account managers regarding project-related opportunities and updates. - Provide managerial support, including team discipline and status reporting on project profitability. Education:  - A high school diploma or GED is required an undergraduate degree from an accredited college or university in a related discipline. In the absence of a degree, directly related job experience serving in a Project Manager role, where a number of years and proven knowledge may offset the degree requirement.    Experience & Skills:   - At least 2 years in an industrial maintenance environment or equivalent military experience, or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required  - Willingness to stay educated in the crane industry; as cranes become increasingly sophisticated, need to be increasingly computer literate and technologically savvy  - Valid driver’s license in good standing that meets company requirements  - Heavy Lifting/Pulling (min 75 lbs.)  - Ability to work at heights greater that six feet above the ground  - The standard schedule is 40 hours per week but must have the ability to work varied hours, additional hours and on-call as required to meet customer needs  - Requires solid written and verbal communication skills  - Demonstrated mechanical and electrical aptitude  - Strong analytical, conceptual and planning skills are required  - Excellent math skills and overall PC literacy (Microsoft Office) are required  - Must be detail oriented, self-motivated and disciplined with the ability to multi-task  - Must successfully complete a criminal background check, physical, drug screen and E-verify  Summary At Mazzella, we're more than just a company – we're a family.
