About the Role: Driving UX Excellence
As a Senior UX Design Program Supervisor, you'll be responsible for developing and implementing best practices for our UX team, ensuring seamless collaboration, and driving efficient workflows. You'll work closely with our UX leadership team to establish models that support key areas such as business activities, design program management, and team tasks. Your expertise in design project management will be instrumental in creating high-quality results, streamlining processes, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities: Where Your Skills Shine
- Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team of UX leaders, product designers, content creators, engineers, product managers, accessibility experts, and data analysts to drive design excellence.
- Develop a clear plan for design delivery, identifying stakeholders and timelines to ensure successful project execution.
- Contribute to the standardization, interpretation, and stewardship of Target's design practices, ensuring consistency and quality across the organization.
- Define goals and desired outcomes with product, engineering, and colleagues, leveraging data and insights to inform design decisions.
- Utilize user-centered design thinking to identify areas for improvement and develop solutions that drive business value.
- Create and maintain documentation on processes and models to operationalize UX and enhance design value across the organization.
- Track the impact of our work, identifying opportunities for continued improvement and growth.
- Collaborate with various teams across Target to ensure a cohesive operations strategy across different warehouses and roles.
Essential Qualifications: The Skills We're Looking For
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- Experience in digital products, working with in-house or agency design teams to drive product innovation.
- A portfolio with case studies showcasing your expertise in design project management and/or design operations.
- Working knowledge of modern product development methodologies like Agile and Scrum.
- Demonstrated understanding of UX design processes and best practices.
- Ability to work effectively in a large organization with multiple stakeholders, building deep relationships and influencing partners and leaders.
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex issues and drive results.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate and support design decisions with clarity, logic, and data.

As a remote colleague, you'll have the opportunity to work from home or another location, with the ability to travel to HQ up to 4 times per year.
