About the Role: Technical Program Manager for Game Discovery
The Technical Program Manager will play a critical role in driving impactful cross-functional programs both within the games platform and across the company. This will involve partnering closely with the Product Manager to develop and implement strategies that enhance member discovery and engagement with our games portfolio. Key Responsibilities
- Leading multiple cross-functional programs in collaboration with product, engineering, design, and data science teams to drive growth and discovery in the games platform
- Providing deep domain expertise to form technical strategies with engineering partners and drive technical execution plans with measurable milestones
- Driving engagement with internal partners, optimizing scope and schedule, managing cross-functional dependencies, and proactively managing risks to ensure successful program delivery
- Crafting clear communication of progress toward goals, reporting status to stakeholders and leadership, and articulating business impact and technical constraints tailored to the audience
- Identifying gaps in solutions and weighing in on product vs. technology tradeoffs to ensure that our games platform is scalable, reliable, and meets the needs of our members
Requirements and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- 10+ years of technical program management experience, with a deep understanding of product growth and discovery solutions
- Direct experience in the games industry is beneficial, although not essential, with a background in technical program management, product management, development, or a related field
- Highly skilled and experienced in orchestrating multi-organizational impacting software programs with many moving parts
- Proven experience creating partnerships with cross-functional teams, driving large-scale technical strategies, debating technical approaches, and building long-term scalable solutions
- Able to identify gaps in solutions and weigh in on product vs. technology tradeoffs, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A self-starter who enjoys tackling 0 to 1 problem spaces and quickly bringing organization and direction, with a strong ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
