Key Responsibilities
Business Process Leadership
- Lead Process Discovery: Spearhead workshops and discussions to understand current HR processes, identify pain points, and gather detailed business requirements.
- Gap Analysis: Analyze current processes against ServiceNow capabilities to pinpoint areas for automation, customization, or improvement.
- Process Improvement: Provide actionable recommendations for workflow enhancements based on best practices within the HR ServiceNow domain.
Translation of Business Requirements to Technical Specifications
- Techno-Functional Documentation: Translate business needs into clear, detailed specifications for developers and administrators to configure ServiceNow effectively.
- Technical Feasibility: Assess the feasibility of implementing business requirements, ensuring alignment with ServiceNow's capabilities and technical constraints.
- Workflows and Integrations: Define workflows, automation needs, and integrations with other HR or third-party systems, collaborating closely with IT and HRSD teams.
Configuration and Customization Support
- Collaborate with Technical Teams: Work closely with IT/ServiceNow administrators to configure modules and implement customizations that meet business needs.
- Functional Design Oversight: Ensure technical solutions align with business objectives, reviewing the work of technical teams to ensure specifications are met.
- Testing Support: Support UAT and integration testing phases by validating that technical solutions align with original business requirements.
Reporting and Analytics
- Reporting Needs Analysis: Work with HR and business teams to define key reporting requirements and collaborate with the technical team to design and implement dashboards and reports.
- Data Management: Provide guidance on data migration, ensuring data integrity and proper mapping between systems.
Post-Go-Live Optimization and Support
- Continuous Improvement: Analyze system performance and user feedback post-go-live to suggest optimizations or new features, leading initiatives for workflow enhancements or additional automation opportunities.
- User Training and Documentation: Participate in creating and reviewing training materials, ensuring thorough and accessible documentation for different user groups.
Stakeholder Management
- Cross-Functional Communication: Act as the point of contact for cross-functional communication, ensuring alignment among business, technical teams, and stakeholders throughout implementation and beyond.
- Change Management Collaboration: Work closely with the change management team to support the transition of new workflows and processes, ensuring user adoption.
Essential Qualifications and Skills
To succeed in this role, you must possess:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Systems, or a related field.
- A minimum of five (5) years of equivalent work experience in an information technology or engineering environment.
- Highly independent, future-oriented, and knowledgeable in strategic planning, with the ability to influence and support cross-functional project teams.
- Familiarity with ServiceNow HRSD modules, workflow automation, and system configuration.
- Basic understanding of ServiceNow's scripting and automation features.
- Experience in working with integrations between ServiceNow and other HR systems, and knowledge of APIs.
Preferred Qualifications
While not mandatory, the following qualifications are highly desirable:
- Advanced knowledge of ServiceNow scripting and automation.
- Experience with multiple HR systems integrations.
- Demonstrated success in leading process improvements and change management initiatives.
