Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary point of contact for inbound participant requests and questions, responding to inquiries in a timely and professional manner
- Maintain a high level of product and system knowledge to provide support to internal and external partners, including proficiency in computer software packages such as HRIS, Salesforce, Sungard, and ORS
- Field daily calls from HRS participants with questions regarding HRS products, logging and documenting participant conversations and issues
- Provide real-time technical support for participants using the automated phone system and employee website, resolving issues and answering questions in a patient and courteous manner
- Update enrollments, policies, and rates as necessary, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of work
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Previous experience in customer service, preferably in a healthcare-related field or open enrollment environment
- Proficiency in computer software packages, including HRIS, Salesforce, Sungard, and ORS
- Knowledge of renewing health and benefits plans, including the ability to update enrollments, policies, and rates
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to provide clear and concise information to participants and internal stakeholders
- A strong work ethic and ability to work independently in a remote environment, with minimal supervision
