Job Overview
We're currently seeking an experienced Part-Time Data Entry Specialist to join our remote accounting team. As a Data Entry Specialist at blithequark, you will have the opportunity to work with a supportive and collaborative team, learn new skills, and contribute to the success of our clients. This is a part-time position, working 20-30 hours per week, with semi-flexible hours between 8 am - 8 pm. We're looking for someone who is motivated, hardworking, and willing to reply promptly to emails and messages from our team.
Key Responsibilities
- Download financial statements and enter transactions into our accounting system
- Reconcile bank accounts and perform basic financial reviews
- Learn and utilize QuickBooks Online (QBO) and other accounting applications
- Work independently to find solutions to problems and share knowledge with the team
- Collaborate with our team to ensure seamless delivery of services to our clients
- Participate in ongoing education and training to expand your knowledge and skills
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Previous experience in data entry or accounting, preferably in a remote or virtual environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in your work
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and ability to learn new software applications
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:
- Experience with QuickBooks Online (QBO) or other accounting software

- Previous experience working in a remote or virtual team environment
- Residence in Utah, Colorado, Idaho, Nevada, Texas, Oklahoma, or Kansas (although we welcome applications from talented individuals across the United States)
