**Job Summary**
We're seeking an experienced Medical Customer Service Representative to join our team. As a Medical Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional phone support to hospitals and patients, handling billing inquiries, and ensuring accurate patient records. If you have a background in healthcare, experience in call centers, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences, we want to hear from you!
**Responsibilities**
As a Medical Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:
* Providing exceptional phone support to hospitals and patients, handling billing inquiries in a timely and efficient manner
* Assisting patients effectively, clarifying questions, and ensuring they receive the information they need
* Problem-solving champion: Working through issues by pinpointing the root cause, researching solutions, implementing the best option, and escalating unresolved matters when necessary
* Data entry specialist: Maintaining accurate patient records by inputting information into our computer system
* Connecting callers seamlessly: Routing incoming calls to the most suitable person within the company
**Requirements**
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
* Epic Software experience highly preferred
* Bi-lingual a plus
* Must have worked in a call center and experience in Medical Claims and/or Insurance
* Ability to undergo a criminal background check, prove ownership of a High School Diploma, GED or Transcripts, and complete a drug screen testing (testing for THC as well)
* Have High Speed Internet with a minimal of 50 Mbps Download/20 Mbps Upload Speed - Must be able to hard wire via Ethernet cable
* Ability to work from home in a quiet setting with no others within earshot, due to HIPAA compliance, including a workspace to accommodate two monitors and a computer
