About the Role
This is a full-time, remote position that requires a strong background in software engineering, web development, and cloud computing. As a Full Stack Software Engineer at blithequark, you will be responsible for:
- Designing and developing scalable and efficient web and cloud applications using a range of programming languages, including Java, Python, and JavaScript.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including product management, design, and quality assurance, to ensure that applications meet the needs of our users.
- Developing and maintaining high-quality code, following best practices and industry standards.
- Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, and implementing fixes and patches as needed.
- Staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in software engineering, web development, and cloud computing.
- Participating in code reviews and contributing to the improvement of our codebase.
- Assisting with ad-hoc projects and initiatives as needed.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in software engineering, web development, and cloud computing.
- Strong knowledge of programming languages, including Java, Python, and JavaScript.
- Experience with web frameworks, such as Spring and React.
- Knowledge of cloud computing platforms, such as AWS and Azure.
- Experience with agile development methodologies, such as Scrum and Kanban.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- A reliable internet connection and a quiet workspace.
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications would be a plus:
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with containerization, such as Docker.
- Knowledge of DevOps tools, such as Jenkins and GitLab.
- Experience with machine learning and artificial intelligence.
- Fluency in multiple programming languages.
