Job Summary
As an HRIS Analyst at blithequark, you will be responsible for analyzing and reporting employee data, configuring HR systems, and providing support to our stakeholders. Your primary focus will be on producing preferred queries and reports, evaluating employee-associated statistics, and making recommendations for process and system improvements. You will work closely with various departments, including HR, IT, Finance, and Payroll, to ensure seamless data integrations and provide solutions to complex problems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Performs structure configuration help, coordination, and renovation of structure functionality.
- Prepares user check plans and communicates them to stakeholders.
- Provides help to end-users through system configuration and suggestions to enhance user experience.
- Researches and approves system access based on security protocols and guidelines.
- Guides troubleshooting of systems and coordinates implementation and releases.
- Executes test scripts for testing new data points and releases; files and analyzes test results.
- Develops system and process documentation to support the communication of new processes or implementations and to aid user training.
- Works with relevant teams within HR, IT, Finance, Payroll, and other applicable departments to assist in providing robust and well-supported data integrations between relevant systems.
- Performs routine data quality assessments to identify data issues and reports them to HRIS Management.
- Consults with end-users on primary to mid-level reporting solutions.
- Determines how data can be used to support user reporting needs and business decisions.
- Schedules, designs, and executes preferred and ad-hoc reports to retrieve data from multiple sources and systems.
- Works with Business Intelligence tools and/or Microsoft Excel or Access to perform specialized formatting, analysis, and processing of reports.
- Partners with regions such as HR, IT, Finance, and Payroll to ensure data quality and value of preferred and ad-hoc reports.
- Documents reasons for data and implications of data analyses to customers, expressing and interpreting technical terminology to non-technical clients.
- Analyzes and compares historical HR data from multiple systems and makes recommendations to relevant stakeholders.
- Creates, prepares, and presents various reports to top management and departments on HR department data, trends, and effects.
Requirements
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree OR a High School Diploma / GED and at least three years of experience analyzing and reporting data (i.e., Human Resources data, financial analysis, data integrity) and data administration.
- Experience configuring, enhancing, and testing HRIS systems such as SAP/EC.
- Experience providing customer service to internal and external clients, including meeting quality requirements for services, and assessment of customer satisfaction.
- Experience with analyzing and reporting data in order to identify issues, trends, or exceptions to drive the development of results and identify solutions.
- Experience developing approaches to engaging in goals with little supervision, relying on oneself to complete goals and determining when escalation of issues is necessary.
- Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Excel (for example, using SUM function, putting borders, setting column width, putting charts, using text wrap, sorting, setting headers and footers, and/or print scaling).
- Willing to travel up to 5% of the time for business purposes (within the country and out of the country).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience using primary level skill in SQL (for example: construct queries, add, modify, and delete data; create and maintain tables, query and update databases using SQL statements, etc.) or other report-writing applications (i.e. Business Objects, Cognos, Crystal Reports).
- Experience using time management skills such as prioritizing/organizing and monitoring information and meeting deadlines of multiple initiatives with various completion dates.
- Experience with project management (for example: planning, organizing, and handling resources to result in the successful completion of specific project goals and objectives).
- Experience communicating technical information to non-technical audiences.
- Experience gathering requirements, developing solutions, and integrating cross-functional system solutions.
- Experience supporting HRIS.
- Experience with SAP Employee Central/Employee Central Payroll, learning management systems, performance management, and succession planning.
- Knowledge of Human Resources concepts, practices, and techniques associated with areas such as Benefits, Payroll, Employee Relations, Performance Management, and Training.
- Basic level skill in Microsoft Access (for example: opening a table in datasheet view, entering data, filtering data, developing a form, editing a form layout, applying themes, running, sorting, and saving queries, developing and formatting a report, changing report views, adding an image, printing labels, navigating through records, and/or exporting to Excel).
- Basic level skill in Microsoft PowerPoint (for example: putting, rearranging, hiding, and deleting slides, navigating between slides, developing lists, adding, centering, and enhancing text, changing views, putting a table or a note, moving objects, printing outline view, and/or running a slide show).
- Basic level skill in Microsoft Word (for example: opening a document, cutting, pasting, and aligning text, selecting font type and size, changing margins and column width, sorting, putting bullets, pictures, and dates, using find and replace, undo, spell check, track changes, review pane, and/or print functions).
