Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented data analyst to support our paid media investigation capability. As a Manager, Analytics, you will play a critical role in streamlining our paid media spend globally, working closely with marketing teams to identify areas of improvement, and developing data-driven insights to inform business decisions. This is a part-time remote data entry job that requires a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently.
About the Role
As an Administrator, Examination, you will be responsible for:
- Conveying data-driven insights and recommendations in the area of paid media
- Planning and developing/leading the improvement of analytics, business intelligence, and data science projects aimed at optimizing paid media and improving advertising efficiencies
- Working with paid media data science teams and marketing teams on implementing media blend models
- Leading ad-hoc analysis through database querying, followed by smart interpretation of results and the planning and communication of recommendations that drive action
- Collaborating with marketing, finance, and product teams to handle business challenges and track marketing and product performance with a data-driven approach
- Influencing Organized Query Language (SQL), MicroStrategy, Tableau, Power BI, and other data visualization tools to create and maintain planned and ad-hoc reports
- Examining data to identify business issues and leading deep dives to perform root cause analysis
- Collaborating with partners to leverage data (internal data from Amazon and external data from market research and marketing organizations) and address complex business challenges by conveying significant insights
- Conceptualizing and running investigations that produce insights on customer behavior and customer needs to help further develop and improve our value proposition
Essential Capabilities
To succeed in this part-time remote data entry job, you will need:
- Experience in the field of Business Intelligence, Analytics, or Consulting in an e-commerce or related industry
- High-level SQL experience
- High-level experience in at least one industry analytics and measurement tool (e.g., Tableau/QuickSight/Power BI)
- Mastery in Power BI with a proven track record
- Degree in data science, business, finance, data engineering, statistics, mathematics, or other related field

- Has a passion for numbers, data, and analytics, as well as conveying significant insights of high quality
- Has a strong inclination for action, is highly organized, and can complete tasks and projects with minimal direction and tight deadlines
- Has excellent communication (verbal and written), interpersonal skills, and the ability to communicate with both business leadership and technical teams effectively
- Has experience with enrollment, membership-based, or media content organizations
- Has experience with and/or interest in learning more about state-of-the-art data science approaches
- Has knowledge of programming languages, such as Python
- Has knowledge of other programming languages, such as Java or C#, or of statistical programming languages like R or SAS
- Has knowledge of Adobe Analytics
