**The Role**
As an Experienced Full Stack Business Data Scientist at arenaflex, you will be responsible for supporting our business leaders in making informed decisions by providing actionable insights and recommendations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design and lead research studies, analyze complex data sets, and communicate findings to non-technical stakeholders.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Design and lead informal research studies to answer business questions and inform strategic decisions
* Present and communicate actionable insights and recommendations to executives, business leaders, and cross-functional partners
* Serve as a peer-reviewer and representative for causal research designed by other teams
* Stay up-to-date with advances in the causal inference literature and develop new techniques as needed
* Collaborate with data engineers and scientists to design and implement data pipelines and machine learning models
* Work with business stakeholders to identify business problems and develop data-driven solutions
**Requirements**
* Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Applied Data Science, Machine Learning, or a related field
* 5+ years of experience in data science, business analysis, or a related field
* Strong experience with SQL, statistical tools (e.g., R, SAS, Stata, MATLAB), and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
* Experience with Bayesian hierarchical models, Bayesian Additive Regression Trees (BART), Bayesian Causal Forest (BCF), Gaussian Processes, and Synthetic Control techniques
* Experience designing and analyzing randomized controlled trials and causal research with observational data
* Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
* Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple stakeholders and deadlines
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Experience with machine learning algorithms and deep learning techniques
* Experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure)
