Job Summary and Responsibilities
As an Experienced Full Stack Apple Remote Specialist, you'll be responsible for driving the development of comprehensive and robust enterprise experiences for administrators, employees, and third-party developers. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Defining, prioritizing, and executing product development discussions and guiding functional requirements to technical designs and project plans
- Driving quality improvement initiatives and processes
- Reviewing designs and implementations created by software and automation engineers and providing trusted and useful feedback in technical discussions
- Communicating and driving decisions (written and oral) on various aspects, such as customer experience, technical design, privacy, and security
- Building tools and workflows that help engineers understand their project's impact on managed enterprise and educational environments
Essential Qualifications and Skills
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- 2+ years of experience delivering and managing Macs, iPads, iPhones, and Apple TVs in a variety of enterprise (non-profit, startup, financial services, etc.) and educational (K12, Higher Ed, etc.) organizations
- Proficiency in managing device management solution landscapes, specifically ones used to configure macOS devices
- Advanced programming skills in Swift, Python, Go, Objective-C, or similar languages
- In-depth knowledge of Apple enterprise technologies, such as Apple Business Manager, Mobile Device Management Solution, Apple Configurator, Automated Device Enrollment, and more
- Thorough understanding of software development and quality assurance lifecycles, methodologies, and best practices
- Familiarity with Apple Management Platforms and Mobile Device Management Solutions across different deployment types, such as Open Source, Paid Solutions, and Managed Solution Providers
- Excellent interpersonal skills, both internal and external-facing engagement, and a genuine commitment to continuous personal growth
Preferred Qualifications and Skills
While not required, the following skills and qualifications are preferred:
- Experience emphasizing the automation of repeatable tasks and tests through CI/CD platforms and tools
- 2+ years of experience as a software engineer or automation engineer
- Knowledge of cloud-based technologies and experience working with cloud-based platforms
- Experience with Agile development methodologies and version control systems, such as Git
