Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Front End Pharmacy Technician to join our team at arenaflex. This is a full-time, on-site opportunity working the 2nd shift from 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM. A Day in the Life As a Front End Pharmacy Technician at arenaflex, your day will be filled with a variety of tasks and responsibilities that are crucial to the medication dispensing process in our closed-door pharmacy. Your primary focus will be on performing order entry tasks, collaborating with other team members to ensure accuracy, and providing exceptional customer service. Additional responsibilities include: - Triage customer service requests by department, urgency, and information/response required - Calculate and/or verify correct dosage based on prescriptions - Assist in reviewing narcotic prescriptions to ensure they are processed in a timely manner - Provide dispensing pharmacists with critical information regarding allergies, drug interactions, therapeutic duplications, and other items flagged by the computer - Create and maintain accurate customer records The Team at arenaflex arenaflex provides care to those in skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communities, and chronic care settings. Required Qualifications To be considered for this role, you must have: - Certification, licensure, or registration as a pharmacy technician, or as required by state law - One or more years of experience as a pharmacy technician Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following skills and experiences are preferred: - Prior experience in the long-term care industry - PTCB National Certification - Verifiable High School Diploma or GED What We Offer At arenaflex, we believe in rewarding our employees for their hard work and dedication.
