**Job Summary**
We're seeking an experienced Data Entry Specialist to join our remote team. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for accurately keying applications into our Affinity database. **Key Responsibilities**
As a Data Entry Specialist, you'll be responsible for:
* Keying paper applications into the Affinity database with high accuracy and speed
* Maintaining acceptable keying speed and accuracy
* Assisting the deposit room with entering in checks, stamping checks, scanning, and indexing when needed
* Assisting with cancellation requests from lenders, agents, brokers, and members
* Working with management to address and suggest systematic opportunities and issues
* Maintaining the highest level of confidentiality at all times
**Education and Work Experience**
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
* A High School Diploma or equivalent
* 1-3 years of related experience in data entry or a similar field
* A strong understanding of data management principles and practices
**Knowledge and Skills**
To perform the job successfully, you'll need to demonstrate the following competencies:
* The ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality at all times
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office
* The ability to multi-task, follow up, and meet deadlines
* Strong attention to detail
**Hours and Physical Demands**
This is a full-time, remote opportunity that requires:
* 8:15-4:45pm (may require periodic overtime)
* The ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines
* The ability to sit for long periods of time and perform repetitive tasks
