**Job Summary**
As a Customer Service/Sales Representative at arenaflex, you will play a critical role in providing fast, friendly service to our customers. You will be responsible for assessing customer needs, providing product information, and making recommendations to drive sales. You will work closely with your department supervisor and other associates to maintain a safe, clean, and shop-able environment. **Key Responsibilities**
* Provide exceptional customer service by actively seeking out customers to assess their needs and provide assistance
* Learn about products using our tools and provide information to customers to sell an entire project
* Greet, qualify, recommend, and close every customer in your department
* Maintain the in-stock condition of assigned areas, ensuring they are clean, shop-able, and safe
* Provide a safe working and shopping environment by following all safety policies & standards
* Work in cooperation with your Department Supervisor and other associates in your department as well as other departments
* Participate in sales promotions, events, and initiatives to drive sales and customer engagement
**Essential Qualifications**
* High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
* 1-2 years of customer service or sales experience in a retail environment
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet sales targets
* Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a point-of-sale system
* Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Previous experience in a home improvement or retail environment
* Knowledge of building materials, tools, and equipment
* Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software
* Bilingual or multilingual skills
