Your Responsibilities
As a customer service representative, your key responsibilities will include:
- Connecting with customers via phone, email, chat, and/or social media to resolve their questions or concerns.
- Calmly attempting to resolve and de-escalate any issues that may arise.
- Escalating interactions when necessary and appropriate.
- Responding to requests for assistance and/or possible processing payments.
- Tracking all call-related information for auditing and reporting purposes.
- Providing feedback on call issues.
- Upselling if required.
What We're Looking for in a Candidate
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- High School Diploma or equivalent: A high school diploma or equivalent is required for this role.
- IT/Network certifications/degrees preferred: If you have IT or network certifications or degrees, you will be preferred for this role.
- 18 years of age or older: You must be at least 18 years old to apply for this role.
- Proven call center experience: We are looking for candidates with proven call center experience, where you have demonstrated your ability to provide excellent customer service.
- Typing 25 WPM: You must be able to type at a speed of 25 words per minute.
- Proficient in PC operation and navigation: You must be proficient in operating and navigating a PC.
- Entry-level network troubleshooting: You must have basic network troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to set up home Wi-Fi network: You must be able to set up a home Wi-Fi network.
- Ability to set up and configure a router or switch: You must be able to set up and configure a router or switch.
- Core proficiency with a laptop or desktop computer: You must be proficient in using a laptop or desktop computer.
- Able to work independently: You must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communications skills: You must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a constantly changing and fast-paced environment: You must be able to work in a fast-paced environment where priorities can change quickly.
- Ability to stay composed and objective: You must be able to remain calm and composed under pressure.
