As the face of arenaflex, you will impact members' service experience by handling customer service inquiries and problems via telephone, internet, or written correspondence. You will engage, consult, and educate members based on their unique needs, preferences, and understanding of arenaflex plans, tools, and resources to help guide them along a clear path to care. Your primary responsibility will be to answer questions and resolve issues based on phone calls/letters from members, providers, and other departments. You will also triage resulting rework to appropriate staff, document and track contacts with members, providers, and plan sponsors. **Key Responsibilities:** * Handle customer service inquiries and problems via telephone, internet, or written correspondence * Engage, consult, and educate members based on their unique needs, preferences, and understanding of arenaflex plans, tools, and resources * Answer questions and resolve issues based on phone calls/letters from members, providers, and other departments * Triage resulting rework to appropriate staff * Document and track contacts with members, providers, and plan sponsors * Guide members through their plan of benefits, arenaflex policy, and procedures * Create an emotional connection with our members by understanding and engaging the member to the fullest to champion for our members' best health * Take accountability to fully understand the member's needs by building a trusting and caring relationship with the member * Anticipate customer needs * Provide the customer with related information to answer unasked questions, e.g., additional plan details, benefit plan details, member self-service tools, etc. * Explain member's rights and responsibilities in accordance with contract **Required Qualifications:** * Customer Service experience in a transaction-based environment such as a call center or retail location, demonstrating ability to be empathetic and compassionate * Experience in a production environment * High School or GED equivalent * Required to reside within a 50-mile radius of New Albany, OH in the event of an outage, you may be asked to work onsite **Preferred Qualifications:** * Ability to multi-task to accomplish workload efficiently * Understanding of medical terminology * Oral and written communication skills * Ability to maintain accuracy and production standards * Problem-solving skills * Attention to detail and accuracy * Analytical skills **Education:** * High School diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent experience **Anticipated Weekly Hours:** * 40 hours per week **Time Type:** * Full-time **Pay Range:** * The typical pay range for this role is $17.00 - $25.65 per hour. This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.
