About the Role: Customer Service Representative - Behavioral Health
We're seeking a compassionate and experienced Customer Service Representative to join our Behavioral Health team. As a fully remote role, you'll have the flexibility to work from anywhere in the U.S. while providing exceptional advocate care to our members. Your primary responsibility will be to guide members through their plan of benefits, Aetna policy and procedures, and educate them on online resources. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide advocate care to assist members with a clear path to care, claims understanding and resolution, and educate them on online resources.
- Guide members through their plan of benefits, Aetna policy and procedures, and ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines.
- Create an emotional connection with members by understanding and engaging with them to champion for their best health.
- Build trusting and caring relationships with members, taking accountability for fully understanding their needs.
- Anticipate customer needs and perform reviews of member claim history to ensure accurate tracking of benefit maximums and/or coinsurance/deductible.
- Perform financial data maintenance as necessary and explain members' rights and responsibilities in accordance with their contract.
Requirements and Qualifications:
Essential Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of Customer Service experience within a Call Center atmosphere.
- High School Diploma or GED.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous Behavioral Health experience.
- Medical or Insurance background.
- Associates Degree.
