About the Role: Customer Experience Specialist
As a Customer Service Agent with Delta Airlines, you'll be the frontline representative of our brand, interacting with customers, understanding their needs, and providing solutions that exceed their expectations. You'll be part of our Reservations team, working in a fast-paced, remote environment that demands strong communication skills, a customer-centric approach, and the ability to work under pressure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to customer inquiries in an efficient, respectful, and accurate manner, assessing their needs and offering solutions and additional products.
- Actively listen to customers, quickly identify and own their issues, and proactively seek answers to problems.
- Make quality decisions, paying attention to detail, and engage with a global community of customers and partners.
- Consistently sell travel-related benefits and promote Visa merchant partner products.
- Understand and adhere to all Delta and U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) compliance requirements.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to stay up-to-date on products, services, and industry trends.
Essential Qualifications:
- High School diploma, GED, or Secondary School Equivalency.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Authorized to work in the US.
- Proficient in navigating electronic applications, emails, texting, and web searches.
- Clear, lively, and respectful verbal and written communication using proper language, tone, and elocution.
- Strong and committed to maintaining excellent attendance, performance, self-motivation, and goal fulfillment.
- Demonstrates that safety is paramount while handling personal data.
Preferred Qualifications:
- One year of experience working in sales or customer service.
- Spanish language fluency.
- Previous experience in a call center or customer-facing environment.
