**Key Responsibilities**
* Answer, screen, and direct calls for the entire company, providing a professional and compassionate experience for patients and their families
* Distinguish the need for emergency transportation and pre-arrange transport for facilities while determining the level of care needed for patients
* Arrange specialty and critical care transportation, ensuring timely and safe transportation for patients
* Provide information and assistance for customer service inquiries as needed, resolving issues promptly and professionally
* Communicate with multiple departments and EMS personnel to ensure seamless coordination of patient care
* Provide supportive information to customers to assist them in arranging appropriate transport, addressing their concerns and needs
* Develop effective solutions for customer service issues, escalating concerns to management as necessary
* Direct calls to Flight desk as appropriate, ensuring timely and efficient communication
* Perform other duties as assigned, contributing to the overall success of the team
**Qualifications**
* Pleasant, professional phone manner, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Detail-oriented, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
* Typing skills of 30 wpm or better, with proficiency in computer software and systems
* Ability to excel in a high-stress environment, remaining calm and composed under pressure
* Adaptability, with the ability to learn policies and procedures for facilities and recognize when to apply them
* Medical background a plus, with EMD certification required within 1 year of employment
