Key Responsibilities
- Analyze data to identify trends and patterns that drive business decisions, using tools such as SQL, Excel, and data visualization software.
- Work with cross-functional teams to develop strategic reports and dashboards that inform key business decisions.
- Design, develop, and maintain ongoing metrics, reports, analyses, dashboards, and other tools to support business decision-making.
- Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and maintenance, identifying and addressing underlying drivers of data issues.
- Empower effective self-service by retrieving and aggregating data from multiple sources and presenting it in a consumable and meaningful format.
- Develop and deliver business reviews to senior management, highlighting progress and obstacles.
- Analyze historical data to identify trends and insights, informing future business decisions.
- Collaborate with operations and business teams to consult, develop, and implement metrics, automated reporting/process solutions, and process improvements.
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 2+ years of experience in business analysis, finance, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience with Excel (including VBA, pivot tables, array functions, power pivots, etc.) and data visualization tools such as Tableau.
- 2+ years of experience in business or financial analysis.
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to drive business insights.
- Experience with SQL and data analysis.
- Experience making business recommendations and influencing stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
While not essential, the following skills and experience are highly desirable:
- Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools.
- Experience with business intelligence and data warehousing.
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Python or R.
