Our team is dedicated to harnessing the power of technology to help our clients improve the health and well-being of their members, and we are seeking talented individuals like you to join our mission. **Your Role in Our Mission** As a Bilingual Healthcare Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our clients and their members, responding to their inquiries and resolving their issues in a timely and professional manner. Your role will involve: * Answering telephones and responding to basic customer questions and/or forwarding to appropriate personnel and providing consultancy utilizing knowledge and expertise on insurance and healthcare. * Developing and implementing general insurance and healthcare policies in accordance with state and federal laws and providing expertise to investigate and adjudicate claim characteristics that do not match policy provisions. * Responding to provider appeals and meeting with providers to resolve problems/issues. Advising provider review councils, state officials, and working with organized healthcare groups and associations on various medical issues related to insurance and healthcare programs. * Processing calls in a manner that ensures service level agreements (SLAs) are met or exceeded. Recording calls, processing requests, and updating account history with results of inquiry to include proper documentation. * Interfacing with team members, management, and customers in reference to customer service issues. Reviewing and recommending modification to procedures and workflow as necessary to ensure efficient and effective processing of transactions. **What We're Looking For** We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual with: * 2 or more years of customer service experience in any industry * Knowledge of basic help desk software, computer software, and Microsoft Office applications * Strong problem-solving skills to bring inquiries to effective resolution * Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on written and oral communication to respond to inquiries professionally * Ability to understand your role on a team and identify the correct stakeholders to consult to resolve client inquiries **What You Can Expect in This Role** * Hours of Operation: 8:00 AM ET – 5:00 PM ET.
