About the position Equivity is seeking a skilled Estate Planning & Probate Paralegal with a minimum of three years of experience supporting attorneys in estate planning, probate, and trust administration. In this role, you will work as part of a dedicated, long-term team of legal professionals, partnering directly with attorneys while being fully supported by Equivity’s internal operations and leadership. We are looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented professional with a strong foundation in estate planning and probate who can manage multiple matters, anticipate attorney needs, and thrive in a remote environment. Responsibilities • Provide comprehensive paralegal support in estate planning and probate matters, including drafting and preparing legal documents • Assist with preparation of wills, trusts, powers of attorney, advance healthcare directives, and related estate planning documents • Support probate and trust administration, including preparation of petitions, inventories, accountings, and court filings • Utilize estate planning drafting software such as WealthCounsel, ElderCounsel, or similar platforms to generate and manage documents • Assist with asset identification, beneficiary coordination, and document organization • Communicate professionally with clients, courts, and third parties throughout the estate administration process • Maintain and organize case files, track deadlines, and ensure timely filings • Assist with estate funding and post-execution follow-up • Adapt quickly to new legal workflows and client preferences, supporting matters from intake through resolution Requirements • Minimum 3 years of experience working in Estate Planning and Probate • Bachelor's degree required • Minimum availability of 20 hours/week to start • Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases • Strong attention to detail and communication skill • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe • Experience with Estate Planning software such as Wealth Counsel • Windows-based computer preferred • Availability and responsiveness within 1 hour during standard business hours (9:00 AM – 6:00 PM) Nice-to-haves • Experience with legal software (Clio or similar is a plus) Benefits • Medical, dental, and vision coverage • Paid sick time and employee discounts • Quarterly performance bonuses • Reimbursement of certain expenses • Professional development and advancement opportunities • Supportive and inclusive remote work culture
