About the Role: Entry-Level Legal Assistant

We are offering multiple entry-level legal assistant positions across different departments, providing a unique opportunity for you to explore various aspects of law and find your niche. As a Legal Assistant, you will be an integral part of our team, working closely with our attorneys and other staff members to provide exceptional support and ensure the success of our clients' cases. Your department will be assigned based on your skills and qualifications, and you will have the opportunity to develop a diverse skill set and expertise in relevant areas.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct client interviews and provide updates on case status, ensuring that clients are informed and supported throughout the legal process
Collect and gather all possible information, evidence, and documentation to help build a strong case, including requesting police reports, medical records, and bills on behalf of clients
Maintain strict compliance with scheduled appointments and deadlines, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively
Utilize our firm's software (with comprehensive training provided) for data entry of new clients, scanning documentation, and saving it into our system
Generate daily/weekly reports with results for all assigned tasks, providing valuable insights and updates to our team

Qualifications and Skills:

To excel in this role, you should possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Strong follow-up and follow-through skills, ensuring that all tasks are completed to a high standard
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact with clients, attorneys, and other staff members in a professional and courteous manner
Customer service experience is preferred, with a strong focus on providing exceptional support and service to our clients
Proficiency in Internet software, spreadsheet software, and word processing software, with the ability to learn and adapt to new technologies and systems
