Precision Neuroscience is building a next-generation brain–computer interface (BCI) to heal and empower millions of people living with neurological conditions. They are seeking an Electrical Engineer (Test) to develop test automation and data analysis frameworks for their BCI device, collaborating closely with hardware, firmware, and manufacturing teams.
Responsibilities
- Characterize R&D electronics through collaboration with hardware/firmware and manufacturing teams, and transfer tests to a manufacturing environment
- Design and develop robust electronics test hardware and procedure
- Analyze test results from both prototype R&D electronics and production electronics to identify device and test improvement opportunities
- Conduct electronics failure analysis
Skills
- Experience with analog and mixed-signal tests for data acquisition systems or custom sensor ICs, such as INL / DNL and SNDR tests
- Demonstrated ability to automate test equipment and instrumentation in a lab and/or manufacturing environment. (Familiarity with statistical process control concepts such as Cpk is a plus)
- Familiarity with Altium
- Ability to read schematics
- Experience with National Instruments PXI chassis and LabView
- Proficiency with standard lab equipment such as oscilloscopes and logic analyzers
- Proficiency with Python for electronics test automation and data analysis. (Strong software development experience is a plus)
- 1 - 3 years of Electrical Engineering/Test
- BS/MS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science (or similar field)
