Job Summary:
We're seeking a highly skilled Data Analytics Engineer to join our App Store Data team, driving business decisions and innovation through data analysis. Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business decisions
- Develop and implement analytical solutions using SQL, Python, Scala, and big data ecosystem tools
- Communicate complex insights clearly to various stakeholders and teams
- Contribute to large-scale quantitative analysis projects, including data quality, modeling, algorithm development, and data visualization
- Apply research and analytical skills to detect and mitigate usage-based billing fraud
Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering)
- 5+ years of experience as a Data Analytics Engineer with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Advanced programming skills in SQL, Python, and Scala
- Experience in the big data ecosystem (Hadoop, Spark, Iceberg, Trino, Airflow)
- Proven expertise in data wrangling, data visualization, and reporting (Tableau, Superset, etc.)
- Strong understanding of data analytics, structured and unstructured data analysis, predictive modeling, and fraud detection
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with strong collaborative abilities
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to collect cross-functional requirements and translate them into practical data analysis solutions
- Experience with code reviews, unit testing, and continuous integration
- Knowledge of data privacy, compliance, and trust/safety domains
