They are currently seeking a Customer Service Representative to join their Collections team, where the role involves resolving account-related inquiries and managing collection accounts while adhering to legal requirements and company policies.
Responsibilities
- Manage and work assigned collection accounts using internal systems, including initiating outbound calls, responding to inquiries, sending correspondence, and updating account information
- Handle inbound calls and consumer requests professionally while maintaining accurate notes and account statuses until resolution or escalation
- Support team operations by meeting scheduling expectations, assisting with training new employees, and performing other duties as assigned
Skills
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1 – 3 years related experience and/or training
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
- Computer and keyboarding skills
- Ability to manage difficult or emotional customer situations
- Situation analysis and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to learn new computer systems
- Ability to sit for long periods of time
