Job Description:
• Provide technical expertise and operational inputs to advance the Global Health and Peace Initiative (GHPI)
• Develop technical approaches and guidance for the GHPI Roadmap
• Prepare technical briefs and summary reports for WHO Executive Board
• Design and facilitate technical consultations with stakeholders
• Provide expert input into the development of the GHPI Handbook
• Prepare documentation and analysis linking health and peace
• Develop technical materials for fundraising and resource mobilization
• Coordinate training and awareness-raising activities
• Facilitate cross-regional collaboration
Requirements:
• Advanced university degree in social or political science, diplomacy, international relations and/or public health
• At least 5 years of relevant experience related to the Health & Peace approach
• Sound knowledge of the UN sustaining peace agenda
• Strong research and writing abilities
• Experience in proposal development and monitoring & evaluation
• Excellent organizational skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills and political awareness
• Expert knowledge of English
• Intermediate knowledge of another UN language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian, or Spanish)
