As a Business Intelligence Engineer I, you will be an integral part of this team, working closely with cross-functional stakeholders to develop metrics, reports, and analyses that drive business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, Development, and Maintenance: Own the design, development, and maintenance of ongoing metrics, reports, analyses, and dashboards that drive key decisions and process improvements.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Supply Chain Inventory Optimization team to reduce costs and improve customer experience.
- Data Analysis: Analyze demand and resource requirements against available resources to identify risks and opportunities, providing actionable recommendations to address resource constraints.
- Technical Interface: Interface with various technology teams to extract, transform, and load data from a wide variety of data sources using SQL and other technological platforms.
- Best Practices: Recognize and adopt best practices in reporting and analysis, ensuring data integrity, effective test design, thorough analysis, validation, and comprehensive documentation.
- Priority Requests: Respond to high-priority requests from senior business leaders, ensuring timely and effective solutions.
- Process Improvement: Continually improve ongoing reporting and analysis processes, automating or simplifying self-service support for secondary data sets to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Essential Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.
- Experience: 1 year of professional data analysis/business intelligence experience.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders to develop metrics and reporting capabilities.
- Data Analysis: Experience dealing with results, metrics, and data with a desire to create new processes.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Tableau, SQL, Python, Knime, Git, and Github.
- Data Visualization: Experience building large-scale data visualization tools.
- Data Warehousing: Knowledge of data warehousing and database management systems.
- Statistical Understanding: Understanding of statistics and probability theory.
- Microsoft Office: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with cloud-based data platforms.
