About CloudX
At CloudX we're building a new supply-side advertising platform for mobile publishers. We're convinced that an AI-native product will significantly advance the state of the art in mobile advertising; we recently raised a $30M Series A to bring this dream to life. We have a long history of innovation in this space—our founding team previously built MoPub (sold to Twitter for $350M) and MAX (acquired by AppLovin). Our new platform combines real technical improvements like verifiably fair auctions with a truly AI-native product experience to give publishers unprecedented control over their ad monetization strategy.
The Opportunity
You'll be one of our first dedicated US business development hires, responsible for driving publisher supply growth across the Americas, Australia, and New Zealand. This is an early-stage role where you'll operate with significant autonomy, build relationships with top-tier publishers, and help establish the commercial playbook for our domestic market expansion.
What You'll Do
- Represent CloudX across the Americas, Australia, and New Zealand with professionalism and credibility
- Build strategic partnerships with leading mobile publishers, managing the full sales cycle from lead generation through onboarding
- Work with CloudX demand partners to onboard supply and generate positive monetization outcomes
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product and engineering teams
- Provide critical market intelligence on competitive dynamics, publisher pain points, and emerging opportunities
- Generate ROI through strategic industry event attendance and ecosystem relationship building

What You Bring
- 7+ years of mobile advertising experience with a proven track record in publisher partnerships at ad networks, exchanges, SSPs, or mediation platforms
- Direct publisher sales experience with consistent results across complex B2B cycles
- An existing network of mobile publishers
- Early-stage startup experience preferred

- Ecosystem Expertise: Deep understanding of mediation waterfalls, in-app bidding, UA/growth strategies, and how to connect supply-side value to publisher LTV optimization
- Independent Operator: Thrives in high-autonomy environments; moves quickly, solves problems without playbooks, and holds themselves accountable to outcomes
- Technical Fluency: Comfortable discussing SDK integration, auction dynamics, mediation platforms, and bidder architecture with technical and non-technical stakeholders alike
- Market Knowledge: Strong grasp of the US mobile app landscape, including the gaming publishers, non-gaming super-apps, and emerging AI-native app developers driving the next wave of supply
- Relationship Builder: A natural connector who builds trust quickly and maintains partnerships grounded in mutual value creation
