JOB OVERVIEW This position forms part of the Lead Contract Negotiators (LCN) - which supports the organization’s agreements globally. The successful candidate will be expected to manage a substantial portfolio of commercial contracts with a particular emphasis on consultancy agreements for  an IQVIA business line focused on the medical device industry. The individual is expected to handle these contracts efficiently and effectively RESPONSABILITIES •    Reviewing, drafting and negotiating a broad range of commercial contracts, with primary focus on Master Consulting Service agreements in support of IQVIA MedTech offerings •    Advising on the contracting framework for full clinical and consulting services as well as for other commercial contracts •    Ensuring that contracts are in compliance with legal, regulatory and organization policies. •    Monitoring the contract process to assure compliance with the organization’s contractual guidelines, satisfaction of customers/vendors, including participation in precontract discussions, contract negotiations and contract changes with customer, vendors and necessary stakeholders. •    Participate in the development of departmental procedures and initiatives to improve the timely completion of contract deliverables while ensuring high-quality of the work. •    Track work and obtain appropriate reviews and approvals, adhering to established processes. •    Ensure delivery of a final contract in a timely fashion, under tight timelines, working independently or as part of a team. •    Develop and deliver training to “upskill” non legal staff and/or move none essential work out of LCN •    Attend and participate in team meetings. •    Perform other duties as required. REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES •    Bachelor Degree in Law •   Active Bar Association •   Ability to negotiate, read and draft in English, as well as fluent in spoken English. •    Strong organizational, planning, project management, communication, presentation and influence skills. •    Proficient in drafting various type of contracts in English, in special Commercial contracts and negotiating complex deals directly with customers and vendors. •    Qualified to practice law in a global organization and has solid post qualification experience.  •    Prior in-house experience in the pharmaceutical industry and/or familiarity with drug discovery and development process will be a plus. •    Ability to work creatively and self-motivated in a fast-paced environment •    Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work simultaneously on multiple priorities •    Ability to work independently, establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers and clients, and at the same time be a good team player  •    Excellent written and verbal communication and influence skills with open, direct communication style •    Excellent skills using MS Office Suite: MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint. *Resumé/CV must be submitted in English* #home-based IQVIA is committed to embracing a diverse and inclusive work environment.
