Dotdash Meredith is a leading media and digital company, and they are seeking an Associate Marketing Manager to join their Beauty team. The role involves managing the pre-sale process and driving revenue growth through strategic partnerships with advertising partners while collaborating closely with various brand teams. Responsibilities - Manage proactive and RFP responses, creating smart, strategic ideas for advertising partners in the Beauty vertical - Collaborate across the People Inc. portfolio to create sellable opportunities for advertisers that are grounded in our brand’s most influential franchises and tentpoles - Lead internal conversations with People Inc. brands and verticals to communicate high-value opportunities to the Beauty sales team on a regular basis - Bring ideas to life through well-written and visually-appealing proposals that represent our brands, capabilities, and ideas flawlessly - Partner closely with Editorial, Events, Studios Research, Account Strategy, and Design to ensure proposals effectively communicate our unique value proposition - Develop strong relationships with the sales team to become experts on their business; provide support on client calls, as needed - Integrated proposal development (creative brainstorming, strategic writing, designing proposal, scope management, liaising with appropriate teams to gather all information) - Presentation Development (category presentations, program sell-sheets, etc.) - Fostering relationships with outside brand teams to bring opportunities to the beauty and style vertical Skills - Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, related field, or equivalent training and/or experience - 1-2 years relevant experience at a digital and/or print publisher, with a focus in pre-sales marketing; background in Beauty category is a plus - Excellent creative writing and storytelling skills with an ability to execute visually impactful presentations (fluent in Keynote and Powerpoint) - Excellent communicator, who remains poised under pressure and can tailor messages for different audiences - Understanding of digital advertising landscape, products, and trends; understanding of social, experiential, print and/or programmatic marketplace is a plus - True self-starter – provide proactive ideas, understand organizational goals, and move initiatives forward - Comfortable working in a fast paced environment Benefits - Medical - Dental - Vision - Prescription drug coverage - Unlimited paid time off (PTO) - Adoption or surrogate assistance - Donation matching - Tuition reimbursement - Basic life insurance - Basic accidental death & dismemberment - Supplemental life insurance - Supplemental accident insurance - Commuter benefits - Short term and long term disability - Health savings and flexible spending accounts - Family care benefits - A generous 401K savings plan with a company match program - 10-12 paid holidays annually - Generous paid parental leave (birthing and non-birthing parents) - Pet insurance - Accident - Critical and hospital indemnity health insurance coverage - Life and disability insurance Company Overview - Dotdash Meredith is a digital and print media company that reaches a vast audience through its diverse portfolio of iconic brands.
