We are looking for a dynamic and results-oriented Business Development Manager to join our expanding team and promote our apprenticeship programmes across the UK. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth of our Leadership, Management, Business Administration, Customer Services, Team Leading, and Corporate Social Responsibility apprenticeship offerings, and play a key role in shaping the future workforce.
About You:
We are seeking a motivated individual with a passion for apprenticeships and a proven track record in business development. You will be someone who thrives in a fast-paced, results-driven environment and has excellent communication and negotiation skills. The ideal candidate will also be highly organised, able to multi-task, and capable of translating client needs into actionable sales opportunities.
Responsibilities
Take the lead in promoting and driving growth in our apprenticeship programmes, engaging with new clients and stakeholders.
Work closely with the CEO and Operations Team to develop and implement sales strategies.
Identify new business opportunities, build strong relationships, and close sales to increase apprenticeship enrolments.
Manage sales records, data administration, and CRM systems to track KPIs and performance metrics.
Use a variety of prospecting strategies to generate new sales leads, and upsell and cross-sell services.
Analyse market trends to identify potential tenders and opportunities, and support client onboarding and retention.
Present our offerings to clients, visit client sites, and make recommendations for new services based on feedback and market insights.
Qualifications
Proven success in business-to-business sales Experience working towards and exceeding sales targets.
Strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence key decision-makers.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
Ability to understand and translate customer needs into working procedures and sales opportunities
Demonstrated interest in personal development, problem-solving, and seeking feedback for improvement.
Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office, with the ability to troubleshoot.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Additional Information:
Willingness to travel to the Head Office in Cornwall three times a year (with the rest of the year working remotely and attending in-person meetings across your region).
