🚀 Amazon Connect Solution Engineer (65-85CAD per hour)
📍 Remote – Canada
We’re partnering with a leading North American consulting organisation to hire an Amazon Connect Solution Engineer to support enterprise contact centre transformations.
This is a hands-on, client-facing role where you’ll work closely with architects and developers to design, build, and deliver scalable Amazon Connect solutions.
💡 What You’ll Be Doing
Configure and build Amazon Connect solutions (IVR, contact flows, routing, queues)
Develop AWS Lambda functions to support contact centre workflows
Design and implement integrations (API Gateway, CRM systems, data platforms)
Contribute to solution design (HLDs, LLDs) and architecture discussions
Support deployments, testing, and go-live activities
Work with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions
🧠 What We’re Looking For
5+ years AWS cloud engineering / development experience
2+ years hands-on Amazon Connect (production environments)
Strong experience with:
AWS Lambda (Node.js or Python)
API Gateway
DynamoDB, S3, IAM, CloudWatch
Experience building APIs and event-driven integrations
Solid understanding of IVR, routing, and contact centre operations
Comfortable in client-facing environments
⭐ Nice to Have
AWS certification (Developer or Solutions Architect)
Experience in financial services or public sector
Terraform / CloudFormation
Exposure to Amazon Connect AI features (e.g. analytics, conversational tools)
Experience migrating from legacy contact centre platforms
